## Five Principles
Every Envosta website follows the same design philosophy. Not a rigid template — a set of principles that ensure every site is fast, clear, and converts.
### Principle 1: Content First, Design Second
We don't start in Figma. We start with your content — what you sell, who you sell to, what makes you different. We write the headlines, define the page structure, and map the user journey before anyone opens a design tool.
Design serves content. A beautiful layout with wrong or missing content is a failure. A simple layout with compelling content converts.
### Principle 2: One Action Per Section
Every section of your website has one job. The hero introduces your value proposition. The features section explains what you offer. The pricing section shows what it costs. The CTA section asks for the conversion.
No section tries to do two things. No section competes with another for attention. The page flows like a conversation: introduction, explanation, proof, action.
### Principle 3: Speed Is a Feature
We target sub-1-second load times. This means optimized images, minimal plugins, server-level caching, and a global CDN. We don't design first and optimize later — speed is a constraint from the start.
A beautiful site that takes 5 seconds to load is a failed site. Every design decision is weighed against its performance cost.
### Principle 4: Mobile Is the Primary Experience
We design for phones first, then enhance for desktop. Over 60% of your visitors are on mobile — that's the experience that matters most. Layouts, touch targets, font sizes, and content hierarchy are all designed for a phone screen first.
Desktop gets enhancements: wider layouts, hover states, larger media. But the mobile experience is never an afterthought.
### Principle 5: Simplicity Scales
A simple site is easy to update, easy to maintain, and easy for visitors to navigate. Complexity is the enemy of both performance and usability.
We resist the urge to add features, sections, and options. Every element must earn its place by directly contributing to the site's goal. Three similar lines of code are better than an over-engineered abstraction. A single CTA is better than five options.
These principles guide every Studio project — whether it's a one-page portfolio or a 50-page ecommerce store.
